Bloom Tour has been so. much. fun!!! Each night so far has felt like a legit dance party.
First up, thank you to you! You guys took a total of 1,366 actions!
Next, big thank you to Headcount for coming out and registering people to vote. Today is National Voter Registration Day and it’s so important to remember #TheFutureIsVoting. If you haven’t registered yet, or couldn’t make it over to see Headcount at the show, click here to register.
And how awesome were our local partners Resource Centre and Equality Texas! Resource Centre is an amazing org that supports the entire community with behavioural and sexual health services. Equality Texas works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through political action, education, community organising, and collaboration. I really hope you’ll check them out and learn how you can get involved with the work they do. Even though I’m not there, it’s another way to keep on the Bloom spirit.
Speaking of the Bloom spirit, we could not have pulled anything off without our team of Ally Coalition volunteers who were there in solidarity with The Trevor Project’s campaign to end conversion therapy.
PS - We’re having a contest for one fan to win an all expenses paid flyaway where you and a friend get to attend the Boy Erased premier and meet me at the after party. All you have to do is take action to end conversion therapy. Enter here: https://www.propeller.la/boyerased
Working in retail is wild, people just tell me things about their personal life and I just stand there. I don’t know how to respond to “my kid just died” or “I’m getting a divorce” like that’s sucks… $13.48 is your total.
